When I went out West, I visited Theodore Roosevelt National Park!

That being said, I HAD to bring the Bull Moose himself, Teddy!

These photos were taken at the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. These are the North Dakota Badlands, not to be mistaken for the Badlands National Park in South Dakota! This was the general area a young Teddy Roosevelt escaped to brave the wilderness and mourn the deaths of his mother and wife. The figure was from a mid-2000's 1/6 line called Toy Presidents; they can actually talk if you have a battery! Below is a bonus shot from the famed Teddy Roosevelt reenactor, Joe Wiegand, holding my figure. I took a few hikes with him in the adjacent historical town of Medora!
