G.I. Joe Antarctica Action Shots!
This is not my first time abroad, but it is the first time I brought a figure outside the country for photography!
This is a custom Wal-Mart Air Adventurer Joe with longer, 4 mm flocked beard wearing an arctic uniform from Cotswold. This Spring, I decided to knock out a bucket list item of stepping foot on Antarctica. If you notice, there are not any photos of Joe actually placed on the snow. It was a strict rule of our expedition to not come into any contact with the habitat or the animals of the continent. This was to limit the mingling of foreign germs and keep the continent as untouched as possible. I am sure I could have snuck a shot of Joe standing on the snow, but I did not want to break the trust of our guides for a silly toy photo. I think if G.I. Joe were real, he would respect that.
See G.I. Joe in action on the most untouched continent on our planet!
