G.I. Joe Bass Reeves Action Shots!

I love Old Western heroes, so I put together my own Bass Reeves G.I Joe!

"Bass Reeves (born 1838, Crawford county, Arkansas, U.S.—died January 12, 1910, Muskogee, Oklahoma, U.S.) American lawman who was one of the first deputy U.S. marshals of African descent in the American West."

-Encyclopedia Britannica

See more of this legendary frontier lawman below!

These photos were shot in the Ozarks of Missouri. I have not yet been to Reeves's base of operations in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The figure is a Timeless Collection G.I. Joe with his head sanded and flocked by Mick Coxey. His outfit is sadly from the now defunct Wolf Pack HQ. The Lone Ranger is my favorite fictional Old West character, so naturally, I took a liking to his real life inspiration, Bass Reeves!

G.I. Joe forever!
