G.I. Joe Day 2021: USS Yorktown Action Shots!

In honor of February 1st, G.I. Joe Day, here are some action shots of the Adventure Team!

In particular, these are the maritime members: the Sea Adventurer, the Man of the Sea, and my custom Sea Commander!

G.I. Joe was technically released on February 2nd, 1964, but I am completely cool with the holiday being today! These figures were photographed onboard the awesome WWII USS Yorktown aircraft carrier in Charleston, SC! The Sea Adventurer is one of the 2006 Wal-Mart Christmas exclusives. The Man of the Sea was the GIJCC figure for the year I do not remember at the moment. The Sea Commander is my own creation. His awesome hair was flocked by fellow hobbyist Mike Boinski, and his outfit is a combination of Hasbro and Cotswold pieces. My Sea Commander is one of my all time favorite customs!
